Sunter Lake Arrangement Project Continued

Arrangement project of Sunter Lake, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta will be continued this year. According to plan, this location will be used as integrated tourist destination which provides jogging track, culinary spot, plant nursery park, interactive park, water sports center in one design.

North Jakarta Vice Mayor, Ali Maulana Hakim said, joint meeting will be held with other related SKPDs/UKPDs to review this arrangement plan.

"We use one design for this arrangement. This area will also provide culinary spot, jogging track, plant nursery park, and jet ski facility," he explained, Wednesday (1/9).

Each UKPDs will be assigned to arrange Sunter Lake based on their main tasks and function. Such as KPKP Sub-department that will be assigned to handle plant nursery park, KUKMP Sub-department will handle culinary spot, and Forestry Sub-department will handle the park.

Meanwhile Water Resources Department will be assigned to do finishing on its embankment with natural concept and Transportation Department will arrange parking area to ensure visitor's safety and comfort.

"We will cooperate with stakeholder who also acts as a user. Jet ski for example. We need to ensure lake visitors safety," he mentioned.
